New Cell Phone Usage Law
Beginning January 1st 2010 there were two new changes to cell phone usage that you need to be aware of. 1) You are now required to use a "hands free" device in order to use your cell phone while driving. Using your hands to answer, dial or hang up is permitted but your conversation must be done via a 'hands free" device. 2) Use of a cell phone in any manner, calling, receiving or texting, is not allowed at any time while driving for drives under 18 years of age. Texting while driving is not allowed by anyone regardless of age.
So please put the phone down and drive. If you really must talk and drive, use a 'hands free' device or pull off the side of the road. You will be much safer and you will make the road safer of others.
